• The full boarding-pass barcode is processed in memory and is never saved or uploaded.
• Saved flights, seat information, flight history, bookmarks, reading progress, game results and preferences stay on your device.
• Nearby game invitations and moves use ephemeral encryption keys and do not pass through the BoredAboard content service.

When you refresh a Flight Pack, the service receives the origin and destination airport codes, approximate flight duration, selected content categories, home currency code, language and an optional normalized flight number.

These values are not accompanied by an account, advertising identifier or device identifier and are not linked to your identity. Responses may be cached by request parameters for up to three hours. The data is used only to provide app functionality—not for advertising or tracking.

Cloudflare operates the content service infrastructure. Flight Pack preparation may request licensed or public data from Wikimedia, Open-Meteo and Frankfurter. Only the minimum query needed for the requested content is sent to those services.

Reading content is limited to original BoredAboard guides and Wikipedia adaptations that include permanent revision links, attribution, modification notices and CC BY-SA 4.0 terms.

• Camera and Photos: used only when you choose to scan or import a boarding pass.
• Local Network: used to discover and play with nearby BoredAboard users.
• Notifications: used only for reminders you enable.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

This policy may be updated when the app’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
